Finally writing the first blog here... after so many days... I thought of doing this many a times, but never actually tried to give time to this... now as I am sitting in front of my comp and writing it, let me tell you a bit about myself...
I am Vaibhav Raj Govil, come from a place called Banasthali Vidyapith in Rajasthan state, India. It is a deemed university and quite well-known in northern parts of the country. My Grandfather belonged to Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and moved to Banasthali in 1950's when it was in the making. Since then, we are living there and hence, our family is quite well-known there. My father, Mr. Prabodh Kumar Govil, after serving Bank of Maharashtra for a long period, is the Public Relations Officer there and my mother, Mrs. Rekha Govil is the Dean, Computer Science and Electronics Department. I have an elder sister, Astha Govil, who is currently doing her Fellowship Programme in Management at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
Coming back to myself, I finished my schooling from a small town called Newai, 10 kms. from Banasthali Vidyapith. I got decent results in my Senior Secondary Exams and stood at 6th position in All Rajasthan State Level Merit List - Science 2004. Since then, I am here at this beautiful place called Goa, doing my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani Goa Campus.
After the degree, I plan to do a Master of Science (MS) degree from abroad and come back to India to serve the country in whichever way I can.
I think that is all for now... as this is the first blog... I'll keep writing here...
